Escrow Servicing Agent/Mortgage Loan Administrator- Broken Bow
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The position of the Escrow Servicing Agent is to manage and ensure consumer compliance of all mortgage loan escrow accounts.
The position of the Mortgage Loan Administrator is to provide support to the mortgage loan officers by preparing loan documents and updating and organizing loan files. The Mortgage Loan Administrator is also expected to assist customers with mortgage loan related questions, documents, and payments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree with 1-3 years of mortgage loan processing experience; OR,
- High School Diploma/GED with 3-5 years of mortgage loan processing experience; OR,
- Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by Bank Management
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Escrow Servicing Agent:
- Work with the Director of Mortgage Lending for changes in processing software, procedures, and regulations
- Prepare and review disclosures for mortgage loans that require the escrowing of taxes and insurance
- Perform annual testing requirements on all mortgage loans that require an escrow account
- Process mortgage loan payments
- Pay real estate taxes and insurance premiums for all mortgage loan escrow accounts
- Monitor repayment activities for assigned accounts on a regular and continuing basis and take necessary action to correct any longs or shortages
Mortgage Loan Administrator:
- Work with the Director of Mortgage Lending for changes in processing software, procedures, and regulations
- Assist in collection and processing of mortgage loan applications
- Collect and analyze financial and related data to assist in the determination of the general credit worthiness of applications and verify the data
- Prepare mortgage loan documents with high level of accuracy
- Receive and post mortgage loan payments
- Review legal documentation, title reports, insurance policies, etc.
- Create and maintain ticklers for outstanding documentation
- Work cooperatively with loan officers to ensure proper documentation in an effective and efficient manner
- Actively participate in customer, community, and public relation activities to increase the bank’s visibility and to enhance new business opportunities
- Cross-sell the bank’s services to customers
- Comply with bank policies, operations, and security procedures
- Maintain customer confidence and protect the bank operations by keeping information confidential
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Responsible to the bank’s Director of Mortgage Lending for the successful performance of assigned responsibilities. Also has key relationship with the Broken Bow location’s President.
- Seeks assistance and advice from other bank personnel as needed, to ensure the successful performance of assigned responsibilities.
METHODS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Through both oral and written reports to immediate and department supervisors.
