Messenger

Messenger is a FREE service we offer through Personal Online Banking that gives you the opportunity to monitor your account balances and account activity through email or text messages.  One text or email could potentially save you an overdraft fee or give you an early warning if your identity has been stolen!

Getting Started

In order to use Messenger, you will need to have Online Banking access.  If you already use Online Banking, you will see a "Messages" section on the first page after you log in.  Further instructions are below.

If you do not use Online Banking yet, please click on the "Online Banking Enrollment" link to the right to sign up.  Once you have completed the enrollment form and returned it to us, you will be able to use Messenger along with all of the other helpful services available through Online Banking!

Are there fees to use Messenger?
No, Bruning State Bank charges no fees to use Messenger.  You can set up as many message requests as you would like for FREE!  For text messages, please note that standard text messaging rates from your wireless service provider will still apply.

Do I have to be enrolled in Online Banking to use Messenger?

Yes, the Online Banking page is where you set up and manage your messages.

What accounts can Messenger be used for?

The accounts that you have access to for Online Banking are the same accounts you will be able to set up messages for.

What if I made a typo in my email address or cell phone number when setting up a new message?
